Tau Class Biographies


President of the Tau Pledge Class
Ganesh Krishnamurthy is a second-year Rutgers College student, aspiring to complete both his undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Public Health. He was born and raised in the small borough of South River, in the heart of Middlesex County. His interests include ping-pong, tennis, racquetball, hiking, and exploring personally undiscovered lands. Ganesh decided to pledge for Alpha Kappa Psi in hopes that the pledge process would sharpen his organizational and social skills, while providing him with the guidance required for becoming a principled business leader. He hopes to one day become an active, dynamic brother and patron to the Omicron Tau chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi.



Vice President of the Tau Pledge Class
Michael Duffy was born in Cedar Grove, but spent most of his life in the township of Cherry Hill. He attended Cherry Hill East and graduated in 2004. Michael recently transferred to Rutgers University from his local Community College in hopes to study Economics and Finance. He also has many interests and hobbies, which include but are not limited to: Poker, Tennis, Football, Weight-training, and enjoys watching his favorite TV shows and movies.








Treasurer of the Tau Pledge Class
Sandra Haddad is a second year student at Rutgers. Her hometown is Matawan, New Jersey. She is majoring in finance and minoring in political science. She is the Co-Committee head of the social event Committee and is very excited to be pledging Alpha Kappa Psi. In her free time she likes to work out, read books, and spend time with her friends and family.









Secretary of the Tau Pledge Class
Geetha Makam is from Edison, New Jersey and is currently a sophomore at Rutgers University. She is one of the members of the Professional Committee. She plays the French Horn in the Rutgers University Symphony Band, is a Research Assistant for the Aresty Undergraduate Research Center, and has been doing Indian Classical dance for the past 15 years. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and watching movies.








Warden of Tau Pledge Class
Mark Aranjuez is a sophomore of Rutgers College. He plans to major in Accounting once he enters the Business School. He was born in the Philippines and he is proud of his heritage. He is an avid practitioner of various martial arts including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muy Thai, Eskrima, Tai Chi, Jeet Kune do, and Tae Kwon Do. Music is an essential part of his life and he enjoys dancing. He aims to contribute more to his pledge brothers whenever possible.








Director of Technology of the Tau Pledge Class
Benjamin Song is from Fort Lee, NJ and he is currently a sophomore of Rutgers University. He was born in the United States of America but his family is from Hong Kong. He is one of the members of the Professional Committee. He loves random facts and riddles that keep his mind sharp. In his spare time, he spends time surfing the web, playing video games, and watching a lot of movies.









Historian of the Tau Pledge Class
Kyle Pierce is from Somerset, NJ and is currently a Sophomore of Rutgers University as an Economics major. He loves to learn more about the fields of money (primarily stock, options, & FOREX), business, photography, and music. Most of his spare time is used surfing the web, watching TV shows, movies, or playing video games with friends.









Social Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Katelyn Lurvey is from Pennsville, New Jersey and is currently a sophomore in Rutgers College. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Tau pledge class. Also, she is a secretary for the Rutgers Organization, "Future Female Lawyer's Society." She enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with her friends and family as well as finding any chance to involve herself in politics. She plans on working in the New Jersey Senatorial race this November as well as interning in Washington D.C. this summer.







Social Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Daniel Whiteman was born in Newburgh, New York, but grew up in Bergen County, NJ. He is currently living in the Borough of Oakland. He graduated from Indian Hills High School and 2004. He is a senior at Rutgers University and he is majoring in Economics with a minor in Japanese. He spent his junior year abroad in Japan studying at Ritsumeikan University. In his spare time, he enjoys many different forms of athletics, including tennis, racquetball, and snowboarding. He also enjoys playing the drums and spending time with good friends.





Community Service Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Sunnaret Eang is a junior in Rutgers College and plans to major in Economics, minor in Psychology. She originates from the Philadelphia but was raised in Camden, NJ. She enjoys sewing various articles of clothing such as shirts and scarves. With her love of fashion, she likes to alter clothes that do not fit her. When she has free time, she spends time with her sisters and goes shopping.








Community Service Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Marian Pho is a sophomore from North Plainfield enrolled in Rutgers College. She is planning to major in Sociology and Economics and minor in Africana Studies and Psychology. She enjoys expanding her taste buds with new flavors of different cuisine. She also likes to create he own delicacies. She is an avid shopper and loves to play tennis. She is a fashion mogul and has a taste for unique items.







Fund Raising Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Monica Giron is from Hoboken, NJ. She works full-time and she is currently a Senior of Rutgers University. She is the Tau Pledge Class Quota Director, a member who manages and records the quotas of each Pledge Brother. She loves a good joke and historical facts. In her spare time, she spends time relaxing, going out to different restaurants, and enjoys watching plays/ movies.








Fund Raising Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Patrick Wong is from East Brunswick, NJ and is currently a sophomore of Rutgers University. He is a dabbler of the musical arts: piano and violin. He enjoys eating and trying different types of foods. His hobbies are playing tennis, poker, and video games.











Professional Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Eric Lieu is a Chinese American second year student at Rutgers University. Eric has a strong interest in foreign languages, particularly Asian languages. Eric's major is hopefully Marketing or Finance with a minor in Chinese. Eric loves spending quality time with friends, broadening his horizons with new concepts and people, and learning from his mistakes. Eric also loves the color combination blue and black because blue is everywhere and black is every color.





Professional Co-Committee Head of the Tau Pledge Class
Hayley Pham is from Piscataway, New Jersey and she is currently a sophomore at Rutgers University. Hayley is very interested in Economics, marketing, and fashion; she is pursuing those fields right now. Hayley manages her free time between playing with her nephew and hanging out with her friends. She likes to do Sudokus, crossword puzzles, watch television, and read fiction books.
